Delete your account
Last updated: 25 October 2026
You can delete your Kissa account (app com.kissa.app) and associated data at any time — in the app, or from this page if you no longer have the app.
Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open Kissa and sign in.
- Tap Profile → Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
You'll be signed out on all devices straight away.
Request deletion on the web
Don't have the app any more? Send a request below. We'll verify the request belongs to the account holder (we may send an OTP to the number or contact you) before deleting anything.
What's deleted
- Your phone number and display name are anonymised and your profile photo and bio are removed.
- Your stories are unpublished and deleted, with their photos, voice recordings and narration.
- Your own-voice model (if any), drafts, library, likes, follows, comments, listening history and settings.
- Your coin balance and unused credits — these can't be refunded or transferred after deletion.
- All sessions and push-notification tokens.
Deletion is completed within 30 days. Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 35 more days.
What's kept, and for how long
- Purchase and transaction records — as required by Indian tax and accounting law (generally up to 8 years).
- KYC and payout records for Verified creators — as long as tax law requires.
- Safety records (blocked content, strikes, reports, grievances) — up to 3 years, de-linked from your identity where possible, to prevent repeat abuse and meet IT Rules 2021 obligations.
- Aggregated statistics that don't identify you.
See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Kissa. See our Refund Policy.
